Why
are only half of the pages printing?! I've wasted tons of paper!

At some point, you may want to print out materials
from your course sites, either lessons, documents, or perhaps a As most of
the materials open in frames, it requires special steps.
Here are instructions for doing so on particular platforms and
browsers. |
(Note: the titles below are links to
paragraphs lower down on the page. If you click on a link and it doesn't
take you to the desired section, just scroll down manually.)
Safari browser on a Mac is NOT
Recommended!
Print Discussions on a Mac
- If you have a 2-button mouse, right click in the middle of a
discussion anywhere.
- A menu pops up. Pull down to This Frame... and over to Open Frame in
a New Window.
- The frame opens in a new window without the header and left nav
menu. Choose File >> Print.
- In the resulting print dialog box, click on Print at the bottom of
the window.

Print Lectures on a Mac
Firefox:
- Click and drag to select the information you want to print.
- Choose File >> Print
- In the Copies & Pages drop-down box near the top, click and drag
down to Firefox
- Check Print Selection Only
- Click the Print button at the bottom of the window.

Print Discussions on a PC
- Right click in the discussion you want to print. A menu pops up.
- Pull down to This Frame... and over to Open Frame in a New Window.
- Choose File >> Print. Click OK in the resulting print dialog box.
- Close the new window to return to the Etudes site.

- Right click in the middle of the discussion you want to print. A
menu pops up.
- In the print dialog box that appears, click Print.
- In the resulting print dialog box, click Print at the bottom of the
window.

Print Lectures on a PC
- Right click in the discussion you want to print. A menu pops up.
- Pull down to Select All. (Alternatively, you can select what you
want to print by clicking and dragging yourself.
- Choose File >> Print.
- In the Print Range box (lower left), click Selection
- Click the OK button at the bottom of the box.
- Click and drag to select what you want to print.
- Choose File >> Print.
- In the Page Range box (lower left), click Selection.
- Click the Print button at the bottom of the box.
OR
- Right-click inside the lecture you want to print.
- Choose File >> Print
- In the print dialog box, click on the Options tab at the top of the
window.
- Click on the Only the Selected Frame radio button.
- Click on the Print button at the bottom of the box.
