What Our Users Have to Say... |

This Etudes community is amazing. I love that I can be at home working
like I am tonight yet still be part of such a vital, interesting
community. If I find myself getting bored reading English 33 essays which
is what I'm doing tonight, I just switch over to see what's going on in
the Users Group! I can answer Private Messages (PMs) from English 101
students--I've answered at least 7 PMs tonight--switch over to the NY
Times for a few minutes, Google a Korean Tofu restaurant, listen to jazz,
answer my personal emails, then go back to grading. It must be incredible
for the students to have this kind of access that they can ask me
questions while they are in the middle of doing their assignments, just as
incredible as it is for me to know that if I run into a professional
problem I can get almost immediate help from the Users Group support
forums. In all the
years I've been teaching, I have never had this level of support.
What a difference it would have made if I had had access to a
community like this when I was a youngster first starting out. I find it
challenging and fun to see if I can answer some of the questions of my
colleagues. I don't always hit the mark, but then you are there for back
up. And I read everything that is posted.
I've grown professionally so much since I started using Etudes. I've
never enjoyed my job as much or worked as hard as I am doing now.
