This session will provide participants with a rare opportunity to learn about accessibility. We will review what accessibility is and how it affects learners and educators. Activities that will build awareness and make clear why universal design is not just for disability access, but also for technological reasons and to support all learners.

• Step-by-step instructions for the various types of content and how to make it accessible, including podcasts and PDF files will be provided.
• Specific instructions for the kinds of digital content that needs to be made accessible
• Demonstration of a screen reader (or at least the text-to-speech capability of a PDF document in reader)
