New Tool Demo

Course Map is a new tool for Etudes (under development) designed to allow instructors to guide students through the learning process. In this session, we will demonstrate the designs and requirements of the Etudes Course Map.

• Course Map gives instructors the ability to organize the syllabus and all the modules, assessments, and discussions for the entire site into a path, grouped into 'units' of learning.
   
• Course Map gives instructors a single place to control open / close dates for all items in the class.
   
• Course Map gives instructors the ability to enforce the path by making some or all of the items in the path dependent on the completion of previous items.
   
• Course Map gives students a single structure to help them navigate through everything they must do in the class.
   
• Course Map gives students a single view of all of the materials and tasks for their class, with the suggested or enforced path order from instructors. They can see what they have done, how they have done, and what they need to do next.
