Tool Demo

Learn why and how to use multimedia elements in your Etudes classroom. We will cover adding video, audio and flash elements using whichever editor you like best: Tiny MCE, FCK and/or SFERYX.

We will first cover why you might want to include multimedia in your class. Do you need it to demonstrate a procedure, provide information, allow students to practice, or some other use? We will discuss how to embed video objects, probably using YouTube, but also some other video sources that instructors will find useful, such as Blip TV. As well as video, instructors can embed code from SlideShare and audio, which we plan to demonstrate/try out.

Lastly, we’re hoping to show participants how to use Flash files in their Etudes tools.
