n the dashboard of Accommodate HQ, instructors are presented with a list of course items listed “By Assignment”.

Items that are included in this list are course items that Canvas allows instructors to set dates for students and groups, and items that support dates, time limit and attempts. This includes:

• Assignments (graded and ungraded)
• Quizzes
• Surveys
• Discussions

By default, each item is listed with the availability dates for “Everyone Else,” as set by the instructor. You can then extend dates in items for individual students or groups of students to meet special needs.

Note: You cannot grant special permissions to practice quizzes, ungraded quizzes / surveys or ungraded discussions, as that’s not supported by Canvas and their APIs.
